This position will work primarily with our financial applications which include Aderant and Billback in different capacities such as implementation, testing, solutions, and support. The role will require managing workflows and functionality to improve company efficiencies by working closely with our Finance department. They will be responsible for helping to manage the application lifecycle of these applications, including software upgrades. Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversee installing and configuring a variety of Finance applications (billing, budgeting, cost recovery, tax, etc.) and systems. Anticipate, identify, and articulate problem areas and work with internal IT, Finance, and vendors to devise solutions. Test to ensure changes are operating as expected and giving the desired results. Design solutions utilizing 3rd party configuration tools to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. Develop new workflows within systems based on requirements from users and functional specifications. Collaborate with other IT teams and developers in delivering new systems and upgrades or enhance existing applications. Maintain existing application features and functionalities and help identify and resolve issues and/or bugs. Work with users to determine functional requirements of new features or changes. Understand integrated enterprise solutions that are comprised of both commercial software packages and custom applications. Works independently with minimal guidance. Communicate effectively and collaborate with non-technical internal clients. Work on Enterprise IT projects as a subject matter expert as needed. Interprets business and client needs, assesses requirements, and identifies solutions to less typical requests. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Other responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. (Or equivalent work experience). 5 years of System Analyst work experience is required, preferably at a law firm. Experience with Microsoft Development Tools including SSIS & SSRS. Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL. Experience with a software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum. Experience with source code control tools such as Git. Practical familiarity with XML, XSL, XPath. Practical familiarity with REST. Experience integrating commercial software with both custom solutions and other third-party products. Familiar with Javascript, or other scripting language. Practical experience providing tier three application support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely, customer focused manner.
