Responsibilities

• Diligently follow up on outstanding Medicaid claims, including appeals, rebills, and adjustments, to secure payments.
• Communicate effectively with offices and providers to swiftly resolve any denials or discrepancies in claims.
• Collaborate with the broader AR team and liaise with other departments and payors to ensure claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid regulations and ensure compliance with all billing and coding requirements.
• Utilize billing software and systems to track claim statuses, identify issues, and document actions taken.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed of the latest industry trends and changes in Medicaid policies.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (1 year) in revenue cycle accounts receivables, with a specific focus on Medicaid follow-up.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid billing, coding, and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with providers, payors, and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other departments.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple claims and priorities efficiently.
• Proficiency in dental billing software and systems (Eaglesoft, Denticon).
