JOB NAME Machine Operator
REPORTS TO Production Supervisor
PAY RATE: $14.50HR
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position requires good mechanical skills and the ability to set up and operate an Auto machine.
A technical person is required to operate a highly automated assembly machine tool which will require multi-tasking, good mechanical ability and problem solving during the production of drapery hardware. Understanding basic computer operations is desirable and applicant must be able to comprehend and demonstrate learned knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, checking roll form tubes & springs to make sure they are in spec, keeping machine clean and oiled, and assisting the other Machine Operator. Must be willing to learn and work in a fast pace operation.
Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
