Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in hotel or industrial cleaning, possess excellent attention to detail, and be passionate about maintaining a clean and organized environment.

All BHRC Staff are tasked with the responsibility of creating a welcoming, hospitable environment with exemplary customer service. Must be comfortable working in a Christian environment. Team members must have positive attitudes and be flexible with adapting to guest needs.

Housekeepers are tasked with the responsibility of creating a clean, welcoming environment. Must be comfortable working in a Christian environment. Full and part-time hours are available. Must be available for hours needed on turnover days (mostly Fridays and Sundays with an occasional week-day). Staff must take initiative to problem solve and ensure that all guest needs are met efficiently and with a friendly attitude. Housekeepers must have an eye for detail and ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed for assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubbing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate

Skills:

- Experience in hotel or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Good customer service skills
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend
- Housekeeping management or custodial experience is a plus
