Douglas School District is Hiring a Grounds Crew Worker (Summer Seasonal) Near Box Elder, SD
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 100 lbs to a height of 42” and perform repetitive tasks
- Present a well-groomed appearance
- Possess a valid South Dakota drivers license and a good driving record.
- Ability to perform custodial duties as needed
- References must be provided
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with grounds maintenance on the Douglas School District, to include the following: mowing, project work, trim mowing, tree trimming, lawn care, clean up, and all other duties as assigned. Duties will require operating of equipment such as mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, and UTVs.
The normal summer season is approximately May 23 through August 20. These positions will involve outdoor work. Seasonal employees are not benefits eligible and paid only for hours worked.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY OR SEASONAL, NON-BENEFITED POSITION.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
