Deacons Tavern in Clarks Summit, PA. is a newly reopened and reorganized restaurant looking for team players to join our culinary BOH staff.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food storage
- Utilize knife skills to efficiently prepare ingredients
- Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth food service operations
- Assist with catering events and serving meals as needed
- Follow dietary guidelines and restrictions when preparing meals
- Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen and dining experience at Deacons Tavern within Best Western Plus Hotel
Qualifications
- Solid experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service
- Proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Culinary background with strong knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in catering and serving is a plus
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous
These qualifications will be essential for success in the role of Line Chef at the Best Western Plus Hotel (Deacons Tavern).
