De La Cruz is Hiring a Media Buyer Near San Juan, TX

Summary/Objective:

The Media Buyer is responsible for seeking out, purchasing, and for the placement and monitor of all media buys. Provides solutions or services to his/her employer and employer affiliates and subsidiaries (“Company”)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions

  1. Execute all media buys
  2. Monitors buying strategies and optimize effectiveness of campaigns
  3. Resolves billing discrepancies as needed
  4. Monitor competitors activities, notify any changes in media and/or scheduling stategies
  5. Mantain up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures (newspapers and magazines) and audience figures (television and radio);
  6. Prepare advertising schedules
  7. Keep control of assigned budget for specific buys
  8. Build relationships with media sales representative
  9. Capable of working on more than one client account at a time.
  10. Work closely with media planners
  11. Support the Media Planner and other work teams.
  12. Responsible for maintaining the professional and technical knowledge required to perform the duties
  13. Staying up to date in digital media trends, and changes
  14. Responsible to comply with all Company’s policies as describe in the Employee Manual

Preferred Education and Related Experience:

Preferred Bachelor Degree, or a minimum of 2 years college education and 1 year media buying experience

Knowledge and Critical Skills Required: 

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
  2. Excellent computer and Math Skills
  3. Multitasking
  4. Strong passion for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing
  5. Proven critical thinking skills
  6. Familiarity with web standards and accessibility
