Field Services Technician:
This position performs a variety of skilled and specialized work required for the maintenance of the Automated Meter Reading/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMR/AMI) system equipment and water meters throughout the Authority’s water distribution system. This position troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves communication failures and meter reading problems. In addition, this position must perform various related duties and take responsibility to ensure uninterrupted automated meter reading for the Authority. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a valid State of Georgia driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and Confined Spaces Certification. The applicant may be required to become a certified Backflow Prevention Tester.
