Position Summary:

To support the goals and vision of DCX-CHOL through learning based experience. DCX-CHOL will provide leadership and instruction to the intern based on the nature of the position.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Manufacturing of connectorized electrical wire harness and cable assemblies for aerospace and military applications.

• Interpreting specifications and drawings from a variety of customers,
• Bill of Materials (BOM) creation,
• Creation of Production Planning (build instructions),
• Creation of Production Verification Documents (router / traveler).
• Aiding manufacturing and quality personnel as needed.
• Fast-moving versatile and responsive environment to meet customers’ needs.

• The duration and timing of the internship will end on 4/30/24.

Qualifications – Education

The student must be enrolled in a degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the coursework required by the degree program.

Qualifications - Experience

• Manufacturing background/interest.
• Navigate Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint), Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge in interpreting engineering drawings is a plus.

• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

• Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
