Research Scientist
The Research Scientist will collaborate with the Program Manager and Senior Scientist to design and execute experiments. The RS will have significant input into the design and execution of experiments, interpretation of results and may design follow up experiments.
Required Education and Experience
- BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related laboratory work experience.
- Experience in assay development required.
- Lateral Flow experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability and commitment to work to deadlines as part of a team
- Bio-related laboratory skills, such as buffer preparation, pipetting, immunoassay, aseptic technique
- Immuno-chromatographic assay development
- Possess problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of QSR's and ISO 9001
- Knowledge of experimental design & interpretation
