Requirements:
- In-office position at Minneapolis, MN headquarters, candidate must be local as this position is 100% in-office.
- 1 year experience reviewing contracts and drafting redlines with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using Microsoft Word Track Changes preferred.
- 1 year of related experience may be substituted, such as coordinating the contract review and response between the legal department and sales or procurement departments.
- Related coursework may also be substituted or used to meet 1 year of experience, such as paralegal or contract law courses or certificates.
- Must possess strong planning, problem solving, analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter able to work independently and balance competing priorities within defined deadlines.
- Desire to grow and develop as a contract professional.
- Ensure all required documentation is received prior to routing contracts for signature.
- Route for signatures to execute contract documents.
- Track contract review status.
- Review contract documents for alignment with DC Group's business policies and risk tolerance, and coordinate or assist with gathering additional details or drafting redlines as needed to ensure compliance. Contract document examples include but are not limited to:
- Purchase orders and terms and conditions, master service agreements, amendments, statements of work, NDAs etc.
- Work with several different departments throughout the company, examples include but are not limited to:
- serving as a point of contact to relay contract information to internal sales team members or others as requested;
- clarifying client requirements;
- coordinating and assembling information from internal stakeholders and/or management during contract negotiation, as needed;
- ensuring compliance with contractual requirements;
- Other tasks or projects as assigned, such as but not limited to obtaining subcontractor compliance documentation or updating standard contract forms.
