Working with Daytona Shores Inn & Suites
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boutique 35 Unit motel located on the east coast of Daytona Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property Management, hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. As the Motel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all departments, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property management / motel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations
-Coordinate daily guest check-outs & check-ins 7 days a week as well as same or next day bookings and cancelations.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize profitability
- Prepare rental agreements and serve appropriate notices to guests to ensure prompt payment (3-Day Notice)
- Conduct needed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with codes and regulations
-Manage current supplier and contact spreadsheets
-Maintain and create ads for weekly rentals (marketing for the motel)
-Collect and analyze guest background checks, credit scores, pay stubs, proof of funds and identity prior to booking extended stays as well as completing required paperwork and proper procedures for said stays
- Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff members
- Provide leadership and guidance to motivate employees and foster a positive work environment
-Overseeing and handling the motels monthly fees
-Maintaining and restocking inventory
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Utilize revenue management techniques to optimize room rates and occupancy levels

Qualities
- Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage expenses and maximize profitability
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Experience with financial reporting
- Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team
- Proficiency in revenue management techniques to drive occupancy rates
- Solid understanding of hotel management software systems (OpenHotel, Airbnb, Booking, Expedia)
- Exceptional guest relations skills to provide outstanding customer service

Requirements
-Must be knowledgeable on how to use booking platforms, such as, Openhotel, Expedia, and Airbnb
-Must speak English
-Must own a vehicle and obtain a valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
