We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance & Operations to oversee the several pool sites and a team of Service Technicians. This is an exciting position for a project-oriented individual that enjoys working with people.
Dayton Pool Management is a community swimming pool management company that operates under the largest privately-owned pool management company in the United States. We only operate outdoor summer pools, therefore working hours are increased March-September. However, hours in the winter months are very light.
This job requires someone who can work with all ages and does not mind "getting their hands dirty" certain times of the year. This job involves customers relations, working directly with service techs, operating small work crews, and overseeing the general operations of swimming pool sites.
Qualifications:
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Dependable.
-Must be mechanically inclined.
-Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
-Experience in leadership and management.
-Excellent written and oral communication.
-Ability to work long hours in the summer (and shorter hours in the winter!)
-Experience in the aquatics industry beneficial but not a disqualifer.
Job Parameters:
-Pool Operations: Maintain and support a region of 60 pools. This includes opening pools, complying with state code, maintenance, small repairs, cleaning.
-Employee Management: Oversee a team of Service Technicians. Supervise and support employees to ensure customer satisfaction. Help hire, train and manage seasonal staff.
-Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers and keep them apprised of all pertinent information regarding their facility throughout the pool season.
