Dayton-Phoenix Group, Inc is Hiring a 129 - CNC Machining - Level 4 Near Dayton, OH

CNC Machining.
This job will consist of setting up and running various types of fan hubs, bearing housings, etc. Prior CNC machining experience and knowledge is required.
Essential qualifications for this position include:
  • Must have experience with CNC machining centers
  • Must understand and be able to use machining part prints
  • Mechanical background a must
  • Must demonstrate the use of all types of gages (stick mics, Vernier calipers, depth mics, dial bore, etc.)
  • Able to use hand tools and grinders for deburring parts
  • Must have math skills for decimals and fractions
  • Must be able to line up parts using dial indicators, chucks and/or fixtures
General qualifications:
  • Must know when and how to change inserts
  • Must be able to read set up sheets and demonstrate the ability to perform setups
  • Must be able to lift and load into machines up to 40lb castings
  • Able to use overhead power cranes
  • Must be able to make offset adjustments to compensate for tool wear
