Beavercreek City Schools is seeking an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at Beavercreek City Schools.
Certification/Licensure: All applicants must possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License in the appropriate areas.
Must possess an Ohio educator license or certificate for the grade level and content area of instruction of the teaching position.
Science of Reading Information
Beavercreek City Schools is committed to meeting the requirements of the State of Ohio as outlined in Ohio Revised Code 3313.6028 requiring districts to use the science of reading for literacy instruction. “Science of Reading” is defined in the law as an interdisciplinary body of scientific evidence that informs how students learn to read and write proficiently. Any employees new to the district will be guided on what professional development to complete based on your teaching assignment and a timeline for completion.

The starting salary from the approved teacher salary schedule ranges from:
Bachelor’s Degree: $45,087 to $68,456 based on prior teacher verification, experience, and training
Master’s Degree: $50,917 to $83,258 based on prior teacher verification, experience and training.
Included in the contract is a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave.
