Day Kimball Healthcare is Hiring a Registration Clerk | Outpatient Physical Medicine | 40HRS Near Danielson, CT
- Performs registration and scheduling of patients for the Physical Medicine Department.
- Responsibly and efficiently performs clerical duties related to pre-certifications, recertifications, and insurance authorizations.
- Performs daily billing/charge entry with responsibility for auditing charges to ensure accuracy.
- Keeps current on changes in Medicare, welfare, and all other insurance policies.
- Performs monthly Medicaid EDS verifications and reports.
- Co-pay collection.
- Performs other related clerical duties.
- High school graduate, or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year clerical experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
