DaVita is Hiring a Remote Growth Strategy and Acquisitions Manager

The DaVita Village is a Fortune-200 healthcare organization that gives life to hundreds of thousands of kidney patients each day.

Its Corporate Strategy team seeks a forward-thinking Manager of Long Term Strategy and Acquisitions to help guide the ten-year growth prospects of the company. This teammate will be at the forefront of guiding strategy to expand DaVita’s footprint in kidney-adjacent products/services and collaborate closely with the DaVita Venture Group to explore investment opportunities that will enhance the level of support that the DaVita Village offers patients.

The Corporate Strategy team is a ~15-person team that works directly with DaVita’s C-suite. We use a hypothesis-based approach to problem solve and enhance high-level decision-making. Our team culture is high-performing, caring, and collegial, and we offer a flexible, hybrid work model that includes optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Career advancement within the team is strong, with a precedent of promoting from within, including to Vice President. Alumni of this team are spreading ripples across the Village, in roles such as Chief of Staff positions for senior leaders, and through senior placements with teams such as the DaVita Venture Group, in London with our International Business, and our internal operations innovation team. Analyst and Manager alumni have also transitioned next to top business schools, including Wharton, Harvard, and Kellogg.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within team and across organization
  • Execute structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving
  • Build financial and operational models to drive insights and decision-making
  • Work effectively with qualitative and quantitative data to form business insights
  • Distills complex business problems into cohesive, impactful stories; builds appropriate horizontal and vertical logic in presentations.
  • Presents comfortably and compellingly to senior audiences
  • Successfully manages relationships with senior business leaders and influences diverse group of stakeholders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of work experience in management/strategy consulting, investment banking, or in an analytical or strategic role within healthcare or technology
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to drive multiple pieces of work forward simultaneously
  • Ability to synthesize and convey research/analyses to senior management
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to impact change
  • An interest in healthcare and a desire to grow within the Village

Salary/ Wage Range

$82,800.00 to $121,600.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
