DEA’s Corporate Finance team is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead our Accounts Payable team in Portland, OR. This role will be a key player in managing the daily operations of the accounts payable group as well as participating in our daily GL accounting to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

Responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:

• Full cycle accounts payable duties in a team setting
• Perform and manage vendor maintenance including invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and filing
• Process and manage employee expense reports for payment, including auditing for adherence to company policies
• Lead the A/P month end close and year end close and appropriate regulatory filings and assists with the GL month and year end close
• Supervise A/P staff which includes approving timecards and vacation requests, annual performance reviews, hiring new staff, and mentoring/retaining the A/P team
• Reconcile various accounts by identifying errors or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
• Prepare, review, and analyze AP Aging and other AP reports
• Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
• Monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast.
• Work to improve processes within assigned accounting functions

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 years of accounts payable or GL accounting experience
• 2 years of experience managing staff
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills and 10-key skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics SL Accounting System
• Concur Expense and Concur Invoice or other Automated AP invoice and expense software
• Experience processing payroll
• Experience working in the A/E/C industry
