Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of GAAP principles, be proficient in QuickBooks, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner

- Reconcile bank and credit card statements

- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

- Review and maintain employee benefit packages

- Perform other duties as assigned by management

- Provide support during audits and tax preparation

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial concepts

- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
