```Duties``` - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Collect patient information and update medical records accurately - Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing - Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area ```Requirements``` - Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff - Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines - Familiarity with medical records management and confidentiality protocols - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly - Proficient in using computer software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
