Privately owned single doctor practice is in search of an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Our hours are 8-4pm Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Update and maintain patient medical records using Curve Dental
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Educate patients
- Assist with patient assessment and treatment planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, DA II or CDA preferred
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, techniques and expanded function skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental office procedures
- Proficiency in using digital x-rays and charting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
