Fiscal Analyst:
Work Timings: 9 am-5 pm
Lunch: 1 hour unpaid – 12 pm-1 pm.

Job Description:-
- Play a leadership role in a team that provides financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to management over a portfolio that includes $6 billion in American Rescue Plan federal grant funds along with over$4.5 billion in CDBG-DR HUD funding and many other Federal and State Grants.
- Lead real-time financial performance monitoring using software from Excel to Tableau to custom built software. Sets and tracks key performance indicators(KPIs) and objectives that are mandated by Federal and State regulations including cross-cutting regulation, 2 CFR 200, and Federal Register Notices associated to specific grants.
- Articulate key findings to senior members of management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
- Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
- Trains more junior financial planning analysts. Collaborates with members of the accounting transactional and AP/AR teams to identify and meet finance goals.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making. Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the financial oversight of $10B in Federal Grant Funding. Work with Custom Software to review and maintain budgets based on State and Federal Regulations.
- Work with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to prepare weekly variances to budget and prior year for the current period, quarter, and year to date.
- Provide cash flow support for monthly budget forecasting process.
- Partner with other departments to provide insight into remaining balances.
- Complete and assist with special projects to support management. Drive continuous process improvements. Support ad hoc projects and the activities of the wider FP&A team as required
- Education: Minimum Bachelors and Masters: Major must be Finance/Accounting/ Economics/Business or a relevant adjacent Major.
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of work experience related to Financial Planning and Analysis. A plus if they have any financial grant experience. Minimum 5-10 years of Microsoft Office experience with Intermediate to Expert level Excel experience.
