DataPath, Inc. is seeking a SATCOM Field Service Technician (Customer Service Engineer) to provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades for our military and commercial customers. Customer Service Engineers provide field support to DataPath customers throughout the United States and throughout the world. This will be a CONUS-based position with OCONUS travel as needed, approximately 75-90% travel. Specific experience with the WIN-T INC 2 Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) (i.e., AN/TSC-202 and -208) is desired.
Responsibilities:
Must be hands-on person with the knowledge to operate and configure the following equipment to include Antenna controller, drive systems, satellite acquisition, HPA/TWT high power amplifiers, LNA/LNB low noise amplifiers, Fiber/Coax/Ethernet Cable Work, FDMA/TDMA modems (satellite modems), Up-converters and down-converters, Test equipment: power meter, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and digital multi-meter, RF/IF cable building and repair - Electrical AC/DC power troubleshooting - De-Ice systems - Dehydration systems - Waveguide and switched – circular and linear polarization - GPS systems preferred. Experience working with: - Cisco routers - ViaSat Linkway Modems - PBX - T1/E1, FXS, Adds/Drops desired.
