This role will serve as a Principal Hyperion Consultant and will work with the appropriate people, processes, and tools to achieve successful functional solutions for business requirements in our customer’s complex application environments. This person will manage project initiatives, and functional and technical enhancements, and act as a liaison between business users, internal as well as external team members, and the customer. This role includes quoting and pricing new opportunities, project management, solution architecture, Techno-Functional Lead, training, and seeking continuous improvement in the BI Team offering and use of Application Implementation Methodology. One component of the role is to identify process improvements and work with the business partners to effectively scope and implement system changes. 

Together with: 

• As a Principal Hyperion Consultant, the primary responsibility of the position will be the support of the full lifecycle of a Hyperion Financial Management support and implementation including designing, architecting, developing, testing, and deployment.
• Need to be highly motivated and exceed client expectations.
• Strong HFM, FDM and FDMEE, Essbase, DRM skills
• Proactively ensure the EPM application and underlying infrastructure are secure, running properly, and responsive.
• Ability to work independently and think outside of the box. 
• Excellent customer-facing skills, communications, and writing and a team player.
• Client management, resource management, and status reporting.
• Documentation of support activities related to customers.
• Provide guidance on resolving technical and functional issues.

 
In combination with: 

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant career experience
• Implementation Certified in Oracle/Hyperion HFM version 11.1.2.4
• Ability to develop, implement and maintain HFM, FDM and FDMEE modules and business process flows.
• Excellent functional background including finance and accounting experience. 
• Strong understanding of corporate month ends close and consolidation process and actual corporate reporting requirements.
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining FDM mappings and validation rules.
• Ability to research application and service logs to troubleshoot application issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external technical support providers
• Proven skills as a team member, team lead, or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
• A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, and manage small engagements or parts of large engagements. 
• Willingness to mentor junior staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with clients. 

You are the best candidate if you have: 

• 8 years of experience working with HFM, Hyperion Domain
• 3 years of consulting experience
• Strong experience in writing and maintaining clear, concise functional and technical specifications on HFM applications and business system processes. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. 
• Experience in the Optimization of HFM applications
