The Team

The Darwin Homes team is composed of a diverse set of alumni from DoorDash, Square, Facebook, Apple, LinkedIn and other top technology companies. The founders and executive team have over 30 years of combined experience in scaling disruptive technology and operations-focused businesses. Darwin Homes was backed by top Silicon Valley venture capital (Khosla, Fifth Wall) and was acquired by Pagaya Technologies, a publicly traded company, in early 2023. Pagaya is an AI/ML data technology company with offices in Tel Aviv, New York and Austin.

What You'll Do

  • Represent Darwin Homes, becoming the first point of contact with prospective residents
  • Answer questions, qualify and sell the property’s features to prospective residents
  • Manage the leasing and application process with our new residents
  • Understand the prospect’s needs and create an urgency to apply
  • Diffuse/resolve difficult situations while nurturing relationships
  • Track communications with prospects & update necessary paperwork and computer systems when necessary
  • Be an expert on your assigned market and be able to represent it virtually
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May require some weekend and/or evening work to achieve sales goals
Requirements
  • Hold an active Real Estate license in the state of Texas
  • At least 2 year of previous property management experience in either the single-family or multi-family rental industry
  • HYBRID ROLE - Employees can work from a home office or from the BTR community office but must be willing to show homes and hold open houses as needed
  • Proven record of success in a fast-paced and high-pressure sales environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks.
  • Ability to bend, stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials, computer screens, and other documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to perform duties requiring physical exertion.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including but not limited to, extreme temperatures, noise, and heights.

$40,000 - $40,000 a year
This role is offering a salary of $40,000 plus a tiered commission structure based on the number of new leases and turns signed. Individuals have the potential to make $1000-$2000 per month in commissions, based on individual sales performance.
