Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is Hiring an Environmental Services Technician (Part-Time, 1st shift) Near Lebanon, NH
Schedule is 24 hours (3 working days), day shift (8am-4:30pm) Monday/Wednesday/Friday *NO WEEKENDS!*
If you do not have experience, we will train you for this position.

- Hand dust, sweep, dry and/or wet mop, spot clean, vacuum, wash walls, windows, sills, clean bathrooms, auto scrub, strip, seal, spray buff, burnish, finish floors, and bonnet buff and extract carpet in assigned areas.
- Removes all bed linens and replaces with clean linens, cleans mattress, pillows and all other furniture in patient unit. Cleans wastebaskets, lockers, bathrooms, window sills, and floors. Maintains a daily record of all discharge and transfer units cleaned.
- Collects, transports, and delivers equipment, supplies and waste (hazardous, contaminated and recycled materials). • Ensures that all housekeeping equipment is clean, safe and properly maintained. Reports all faulty equipment to the supervisor.
- Removes drapes, cubical curtains and furniture for cleaning and repair.
- Replaces all consumable supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
- Moves furniture and changes light bulbs.
- Responds to emergency cleaning needs and "OOPS" calls. • Cleans cardiac chairs, stretchers, wheelchairs, and other equipment as directed by the supervisor.
- Operates tow motor, picking up trash carts from designated locations and transporting them to the Waste Management Center.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and write required.
- Prior satisfactory work experience is preferred.
