Overview
The Food Service Attendant - Host assembles, serves, and delivers food, and performs sanitation activities in assigned areas: patient area for patient tray assembly and sanitation; patient tray delivery and menu collection; or the detail dining areas. May operate dishwasher or assists with washing/sterilizing dishes. Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties.
This is a per diem position with competitive rates starting at $17/hr. Evening and weekend shifts receive a shift differential, and weekend shifts are required. You must be at least 16 years of age to apply for this position.

Responsibilities
Patient Tray Delivery and Menu Collection responsibilities:
Assists with tray delivery and retrieval. Collects patient menus on assigned units. Assists patients with menu completion using hard copy menus or laptops. Performs inventory of food and supplies for assigned units. Assembles these supplies and delivers to the assigned unit. Takes temperatures of assigned refrigerators and freezers and documents as required Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred.
* Ability to read and write required.
* Prior satisfactory work experience is desired.
