We're seeking a Lab Equipment Manager for a unique, tailored mission.

Responsibilities

• Support defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution.
• Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge.
• Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Work independently with some guidance.
• Review or guide activities of more junior employees.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.

TRAVEL:

• This position expects no travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active and current Secret clearance at the time of application. ***This position is not currently available for clearance sponsorship or upgrade.***

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED, required.

CERTIFICATION(S): 

• N/A

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 6 years of experience with Lab Management or Warehouse Management.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Access Databases for data entry and queries.
• Experience with Inventory Management, including conduct of physical inventory, maintaining and statusing Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S), and ensuring materials are organized and stored in prescribed storage locations.
• Experience examining equipment and materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
• Experience with receiving and shipment of test equipment and materials, including verification of items against receiving documents, removal of items from storage to prepare for shipping, and creation and tracking of DD-1149s.
• Experience maintaining Equipment Calibration, including working with internal and external vendors to obtain quotes, and schedule calibration of equipment to maintain readiness status.
• Ability to proactively work with government leads and engineers to manage the lab equipment and materials inventory, processes, and status reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple daily requests for action and status, both written and oral.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with RF test equipment.
• Experience using barcode systems for asset management and inventory.
• Ability to update and maintain Microsoft Access databases and custom report generation.
