We are currently searching for a Security Guard to join our team. Responsible for controlling access to the plant in order to maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees. Responsible for traffic control into and out of the facility, for both the pellet division and DC, as well as Fiber delivery and all associated documentation.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Employee and visitor access at the front gate.
• Screening and documentation of all visitors.
• Traffic access, control and communication with Pellet operations and Distribution Center personnel.
• Fiber truck weigh in, weigh out and scale ticket documentation.
• Moisture testing and documentation of Fiber truck deliveries.
• General housekeeping.
• Reporting of any unsafe conditions or practice.
• Reporting and issues with equipment.
• Following safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to professionally interact with all visitors, vendors and trucking suppliers.
• Ability to perform analytical testing such as moisture tests and basic math skills.
• Work for long periods of time in a wide variety of ambient conditions.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to uphold company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
