Job Description- Cleanup/Janitorial Worker

Dansons, also known for two major brands in the BBQ industry Pit Boss & Louisiana Grills.

We are currently in search of an individual responsible for Clean Up in the Pellet Plant. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the plant floor & equipment is clean & free of dust. Have open and clear communication with Shift Foreman on recurring sources of sawdust leaks.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for general cleaning of the building.
• Able to use and operate the following equipment:
• broom, shovel and mop
• pressure washer
• other cleaning equipment as necessary

• Cleaning and stocking restrooms
• Cleaning and stocking breakrooms
• Assist with cleaning truck trailers, as necessary.
• Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident-free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.
• Inventories cleaning supplies & tools.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Supervision Received:

This position takes direction from the Shift Foreman and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Physical Demands and Environment:

• Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to work for extended periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to work in an elevated temperature/ humidity area

Education, Experience and Training:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Janitorial: 1 year (Preferred)
• cleaning warehouse/mill: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
