Position Summary: 

The Maintenance Operator is responsible for general maintenance on pumps, generators, compressors. Including testing on ESD systems both pneumatic and electrical valves as well as greasing wellheads. Requires technical skills and knowledge in order to ensure the smooth operation of equipment in the oil and gas industry. 

 Job Duties:

• Provides maintenance support for pumps, generators, and compressors.
• Mechanical Aptitude Develops ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles such as, but not limited to, sounds, heat conduction, velocity, gravity, friction, pressure, kinetic and potential energy, etc. when working or using mechanical machinery.
• Conducting tests on Emergency Shutdown Systems, pneumatic and electrical valves. 
• Repairing equipment using cutters and threaders and troubleshooting issues. 
• Performing general Maintenace and repairs on various production related equipment.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of Oil & Gas Maintenance Operator experience, lease crew/ roustabout experience in an oilfield environment, electrical maintenance background preferred.
• High School Grad or GED equivalent required
• Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required
• Must meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty
• Must maintain clear driving record, maintain company vehicle and abide by vehicle policies

Physical Demands:

• Work involves climbing at heights at or above six feet

• Auditory attention and hearing sensitivity is required, as candidates must possess the ability to distinguish various sounds that serve as key maintenance indicators
• Must employ the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety policies

Work Environment:

• Full exposure to extreme weather changes and humidity/moisture relative to atmospheric condition variations. Includes exposure to extreme summer and winter temperatures, as well as rain, sleet, and snow.
• Full exposure to dust, chemicals, gases, fumes, smoke, excessive noise, and/or vibrations.
• Work generally performed in an industrial environment (indoor or outdoor) with various hazards and noise exposure.
• The job also requires availability for rotating on-call schedule, occasional unscheduled call-outs and extended workdays and/or workweeks.
• Overtime, Weekend and/or Holiday hours may be required.
