Happy Tails Pet Resort (965 Generals Hwy, Crownsville MD 21032) is looking for a part-time or full-time Office Assistant / Receptionist for our Dog Boarding and Daycare Facility. Hours are flexible and can include weekdays and/or weekends. Morning, evening, or all-day shifts available.

Office Assistants are responsible for customer interaction, phone calls, emails, computer software, payments, and being the friendly "face" and representative of our company. Must be willing to provide exceptional and professional customer service. Will also be cross-trained on basic kennel responsibilities such as cleaning, feeding, bathing, and dog handling.

Qualifications Include:

- Must be over 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 lbs or more
- Must have own transportation, be punctual and dependable
- Must love dogs; no fear of dogs
- Power to stay calm and think clearly in stressful situations
- Ability to recognize basic canine behavioral signs
- Friendly and professional manner with customers and co-workers
- "Team Player", follows directions, and is self-motivated
- Tolerance for working in extreme weather conditions and ability to bend, kneel, and stoop on a regular basis
- Customer Service & Kennel / Animal Care experience highly requested, but not required
- Limited Vacations during Peak Seasons (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and must be available to work some hours on all Major Holidays
