The James is a neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare in the heart of James Island in Charleston, SC. With an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, The James offers familiar dishes and top-notch hospitality, creating a community gathering place to return to time and time again. Locally operated by The Neighborhood Dining Group (Husk, Delaney Oyster House and Minero).
We are looking for AM and PM Line Cooks who want to join a team of true hospitality professionals. Someone interested in learning new techniques enjoys working with locally sourced ingredients and is eager to assist in achieving our culinary vision. FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE!

• AM/Lunch & PM/ Dinner shifts: Wed - Sun
• PM/Dinner shift only: Mon - Tues

What we are looking for in our James Team Members:

• Skills in food production with the ability to follow recipes and guidelines.
• Understanding of food and kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Comfortability with multi-tasking and prioritizing job duties - working quickly, cleanly and efficiently.
• Willingness to get the job done correctly!

While previous experience is desired, we are willing to train those with the right attitude and drive for success!
