The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading the development and performance of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with Beckman Coulter’s business objectives. Additionally, they are responsible for developing standard work and business processes that pull together cross-functional, global team members to drive digital marketing initiatives forward. Furthermore, the manager should adapt to changing business environments and demonstrate proficiency in change management strategies to foster a culture of flexibility within the team.

This position is part of the Global Marcom & Brand team located in located in Brea, CA and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to Relentlessly Reimagine healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.

You will be a part of the Digital Marketing Team and report to the Director, Global Marketing Communications & Brand, responsible for leading the overall brand and Global Marketing Communications at Beckman Coulter. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Digital Strategy Development: Lead the development and performance of comprehensive digital marketing strategies to ensure every customer interaction meets or exceeds the desired customer experience, laddering up to Beckman Coulter’s business objectives.
  • Digital Campaign Management: Plan, action, and monitor integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to, search engines, social media, email, paid media, and display advertising. Utilize data analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Content Strategy, SEO and SEM Optimization: Collaborate with the creative and content team to develop engaging and informative digital content that captures target audiences where they are and at the right time. Develop and action SEO and SEM strategy, including optimization to improve search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and maximize ROI on paid campaigns.
  • Marketing Technology (Salesforce & Marketo): Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and implement innovative tools to enhance campaign performance. Leverage Marketo to stand up and manage email marketing campaigns, focusing on audience segmentation, A/B testing, lead scoring and automation to nurture leads and drive conversions on landing pages and forms. Leverage the right content at the right time. Experience building ABM campaigns in Marketo is a plus.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with 14 years of experience or Master’s degree with 12 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content marketing and lead generation preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics including GA4, Marketo, SiteCore, AdWords, and social media management tools).
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills, skilled in leading and inspiring teams, fostering collaboration, and aligning strengths with organizational goals.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Marketo Certification
  • Digital Marketing Certification
  • Google Analytics Certification

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $140,000-$160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
