Dana is Hiring a Quality Technician - 3rd Shift Near Sterling, IL

Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Job Responsibilities
  • Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product.
  • Conduct in process audits.
  • Address all internal quality issues and quality awareness training.
  • Handle document control programs in QSI/Compliant Pro Database.
  • Conduct receiving inspections.
  • Recommend modifications of quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specs.
Job Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of gage usage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with all departments.
  • Computer literacy
  • Basic understanding of Quality principles
  • Familiar with quality principles of ISO/QS 9000/TS16949 Systems
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to follow the below requirements:
    • Corporate Health and Safety Policies
    • Environmental Mission Statement
    • Dana Life Safety Rules
    • Job Risk Safety Analysis (JSRA)
    • Personal Protective Equipment Requirements
