We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

Position will be: FULL TIME - 5 DAYS A WEEK OR MORE AS NEEDED.

Maintenance Assistant - Handyman - Housekeeping

Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation of individual room air conditioning units
• Cleaning Rooms and the grounds of the hotel.

• Perform light building maintenance tasks (i.e. painting, carpentry, moving furniture, light plumbing, replace carpets), as trained and assigned.
• Perform scheduled cleaning of quest rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, offices and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of furniture and surfaces.
• Replenish kitchen, bathroom and common area supplies, as needed
• Respond promptly to executive management maintenance requests and projects, as requested
• Maintain regular communication with senior maintenance personnel
• Clean hallways, patio area, parking lot, water plants.

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
