Normal Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday

The Service Team Leader (STL) will be responsible for developing, managing, and leading a Service Team of Technicians and Resource Coordinators to represent Damuth Trane in a geographically defined customer base; while developing and growing that customer base through excellent customer service, development of leads and work change authorizations, and development of operational excellence in the assigned technician team. This role includes/requires customer facing activities, administrative and management duties, and leadership skills. STLs are expected to grow their business segment while working with other STLs, account managers, and others in the organization to develop and maintain excellent service standards, consistent, effective processes, and profitability.

Requirements

• Required - High School diploma or equivalent
• Required - Engineering/Technical or Business degree or equivalent
• Required - 3 years experience in service management or similar background
• Required - Demonstrated understanding of controls, HVAC equipment, contract administration, and HVAC Building Systems
• Required - Financial budgeting, planning and administration skills
• Required - Demonstrated understanding of and experience in development, estimation, and management of equipment retrofit work
• Required - Strong computer skills with experience working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Preferred - Experience with Great Plains / Dynamic

• Willingness to work extended hours when required
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Ability to pass formal background check
• Ability to prove U.S. Employment eligibility
• Valid driver's license and positive driving record
• Willing to travel locally as required
• Mobility within the office and on jobsite

A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for developing, quoting, and closing business leads in core or unassigned accounts. Also, you will provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system-related solutions for the customer's problems. This includes maintaining quality standards by visiting job sites and meeting with technicians, customers, and other vendors as needed. You will develop customer relationships with building owners; work in coordination with other Service Team Leaders and members of the Service Sales Team in developing business solutions, and increasing service agreements, while meeting the minimum service agreement compliance rate. You will maintain availability as a point of contact in the organization for Core Accounts. Other responsibilities may also be assigned.What Sets Us Apart
