Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

Daly is an enterprise IT infrastructure service and solution provider focused primarily on the needs of public sector institutions. We are seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to receive, check, store, issue, and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment and perform related work as required. The ideal candidate must be able to perform all levels of warehouse/operations work to include coordinating, researching, compiling, exchanging, managing, and analyzing information. Typical hours are M-F, 8:00 to 5:00 pm. However, the possibility of overtime due to customer schedules may be necessary. Based upon performance during the first 90 days, the candidate has the possibility to move from Seasonal/Temporary to Full-time Employment.

All candidates must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and a drug screening/testing. Daly is a drug-free workplace.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receives and signs for products delivered on customer sales orders.
• Inspects materials for conformity to sales order specifications.
• Ensures product is scanned, stored promptly and accurately.
• Collaborates with the Warehouse Data Administrator and Operations team members regarding invoices.
• Assists in inventory requisitioning, receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for supplies.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and areas following established procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Exemplifies professional conduct standards in all activities.
• Stays open to and learns from assignments and feedback.
• Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Minimum One (1) year of knowledge and experience working in a warehouse, production, or fulfillment environment desired.
• Ability to keep accurate records, understand and carry out all written and oral instructions, and do physical labor.
• Ability to type 60 wpm.
• Solid data entry and computer skills required, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, AX Dynamics and UPS Worldwide.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Activities:

• Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

• Visually locates inventory and other objects.
• Visually inspects inventory.
• Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• May need to move, lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds without assistance.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, which could include, but not be limited to eye protection, hearing protection, respiratory protection and protective footwear.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
