Dallastown Area Middle School The Dallastown Area School District seeks a Part-Time, 10-Month Learning Support Paraprofessional for our Middle School (Grades 7-8).
You'll play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting regular and special education teachers in the delivery of supports and services.
The work schedule is 8:45 AM - 2:45 PM, which includes 5.50 work hours and a half-hour unpaid lunch, on student attendance full and half-days during the school year - approximately mid-August through early June. Paraprofessionals are able to enjoy the summer break!

• Two years of post-secondary study (48 credit hours or more), Associate’s Degree or higher, or High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) and ability to meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a state or local assessment.
• Child-centered, warm, and receptive to children
• Ability to carry out oral and written communications/instructions and work cooperatively with others
• Acceptable record of attendance

• Working one-on-one or with small groups of students as directed by the teacher
• Aiding in supervision of students
• Assisting teachers in presentation and development of learning materials and instructional exercises
• Performing routine clerical work
• Working with instructional media, office machines, and equipment
