The Print Press Operator is responsible for overseeing and operating all tasks at the print press in BSG. The Print Press Operator will help to drive the execution of the day to day tasks at their designated print press. Qualified candidates must be comfortable in a production oriented, fast paced environment that changes frequently and requires significant multi-tasking abilities. The Print Press Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor. Job Duties: Ensures timely completion of all production orders at their pressWork with production supervisor and production planner to make sure all orders have the necessary items to be completed accordingly at their pressCommunicate any issues that will slow down production with the appropriate departments and leadersDrive fast and effective screen setupsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with various departments within BSGMonitor and manage supplies at their press (Ink, Screens, Emulsions, etc.)Help to drive a safety culture in the BSG production roomOversee effective quality control processes at the print pressOversee and aid in proper print press operator and assistant trainingHelp to drive productivity and efficiency at the pressEnsure production order compliance at the pressKey partner to production supervisor to communicate feedback and help troubleshootDevelop and help lead print press assistantsOversee and drive the flawless execution of print production procedures at the pressPerform other functions and activities as directed by the production supervisor Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED preferred.Screen printing or screen making experience preferred.Experience with print production inks desired.Excellent verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively Able to simultaneously execute a high level of detail Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectivelyAble to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivityAble to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members when necessaryAble to work weekends and possible holidaysAble to work 7AM to 4PM and longer if necessaryBilingual in Spanish preferred
