Job Summary:
Dalkia Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced AR AP Billing Specialist to join our accounting and finance team in San Antonio, Texas. As a full-time individual contributor, this position will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, as well as ensuring accurate and timely billing for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This is an on-site position.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Process and post accounts receivable payments and maintain accurate records
- Generate and review client bills and invoices
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and communicate with clients as needed
- Manage vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any billing or payment inquiries
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for management
- Assist with month-end close and other accounting tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in A/R and A/P roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs, such as Sage Intacct and Docupeak
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in the energy or utilities industry is a plus
