Dal-Tile Corp. is Hiring a 2nd Shift Saw Operator Near Dallas, TX
- Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Understand production schedule and completes appropriate production forms.
- Move production components from inventory staging to production line using a forklift.
- Load line with component material to be cut, according to production schedule.
- Setup of Saw/Profile blade assemblies and guides to meet tile specifications.
- Ensures efficient operation of Saw/Profile equipment and continuous process flow.
- Inspect cut tile to ensure cuts are made to specifications and identify tile defects.
- Ensure the Barcode printer is printing correctly and legible if code is required.
- Performs minor adjustments and troubleshoots issues to equipment as needed.
- Changes Saw/Profile blades as needed.
- Inspect and stack cut pieces onto carts/pallets.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
- Complete daily documentation forms.
- Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Experience: 2-3 years of previous manufacturing experience with some Mechanical Comprehension
Competencies:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good record-keeping skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
