Information Technology Managers are responsible to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the analysis, design, development, configuration, and implementation of organizational information systems within the area of responsibilities. The Manager is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and/or technical infrastructure. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her team on issues related to the analysis, design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems within their area of responsibilities.
Who We Are• Bachelor's Degree in computer information systems, computer science, engineering, business administration or similar discipline, AND 8 years' work experience leading, supervising, or managing technical teams.

Strategy & Planning:
1. Plan projects in accordance with the Information Technology Department's methodologies, standards, and guidelines.
2. Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
3. Promote the Information Technology Department's methodologies, standards, and guidelines to their team.
4. Ensure that projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
5. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices.
6. Draft request-for-board actions (RBAs) and other documentation necessary for the organizations planned projects.
7. Participate in the Information Technology department budget planning process.
8. Contribute to the Information Technology department's goals and objectives measurements.
Acquisition & Deployment:
9. Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, scope of work, purchase order requests, and other documentation for associated efforts.
10. Research and make recommendations on products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
11. Ensure that all deployments are in accordance with the Information Technology department's methodologies, standards, guidelines, and security controls.
12. Ensure appropriate training initiatives for new and existing staff.
13. Manage vendor/consultant relationships and contracts for all products and services within area of responsibility.
Operational Management:
14. Provide direction and technical leadership for teams made up of I.T. professionals in support of business operations.
15. Liaise/work with network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
16. Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices.
17. Where necessary, prepare, establish, and monitor budgets.
18. Meet the measurements for the Information Technology department's goals and objectives.
19. Recruit, select, develop, mentor, train, recognize, and evaluate the performance of staff.
20. Other duties as assigned.
