Store Manager - Dairy Queen
The store manager is the lead role at the location that over sees all day to day operations and overall safety for all customers and employees. The following are the main duties and physical requirements of the store manager but are not limited to:
Duties
- Maintain and manage relationships with vendors and food suppliers.
- Order, manage and maintain store inventory.
- Hire, train and manage staff.
- Train employees on all safety measures and guidelines.
- Train employees on all company policies and procedures.
- Hold all employees accountable for upholding all company policies and procedures.
- Quality control of food prep and presentation.
- Follow all ServSafe and Department of Health standards.
- Focus on customer service and experience.
- Daily reconciliation of sales for site.
- Enter and manage invoices for the site.
- Maintain cash onsite and cash flow of the location.
- Customer service issues/complaints.
- Report of operating issues or incidents.
- Report equipment issues or hazards.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for up to 8 hours in a day.
- Squatting, bending multiple times in a day.
- Lifting or carrying freight up to 25lbs.
- Push and pulling freight up to 25lbs.
