Dairy Queen is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Cave, KY

  • Opening and closing the restaurant.
  • Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
  • Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
  • Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations and ensure that the facility is clean and well-maintained
  • Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction while providing quick service for all restaurant customers
  • Follow all food and safety guidelines as well as ensure that the entire team is adhering to the same food handling standards
  • Evaluate and regularly report on guest satisfaction and advise on improvements
  • Training employees on the proper way to greet customers and handle different situations that may occur during work hours
  • Making sure that all shifts are covered
  • Reviewing employee performance and interviewing potential new hires for all positions within the restaurant
  • Establishing policies for food preparation and safety, including how food should be stored, how to handle spoiled food, how to clean cooking equipment, etc.
  • Overseeing the daily operations at the restaurant, such as monitoring inventory levels of supplies and ordering new items as needed
  • Managing the finances of the restaurant by collecting payments from customers and monitoring cash flow
  • Making sure that staff are properly trained in all aspects of their job duties and are following company policies regarding customer service
  • Meeting with store managers on a regular basis to discuss employee performance and any problems that may need to be addressed
  • Overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations and ensuring that the facility is clean and well-maintained

Assistant Manager Qualifications

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Experience working in food service is required
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Exhibits strong leadership and customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
