General Purpose:

To support our growing Sustainability work, we are looking for an experienced Programs Manager to join our Sustainability team. The Programs Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the cooperative’s sustainability framework for identified areas of the business. Areas of program management include but are not limited to tracking program metrics and KPIs, overseeing the assurance program, reporting results, creating processes and procedures, drafting communications on material topics, and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders through regular dialogue and reporting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the dairy supply chain assurance program for on-farm sustainability
• Lead the measurement, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MMRV) work for on-farm sustainability projects including data tracking, dashboard reports, and managing external verification bodies
• Track sustainability program KPIs and metrics while communicating program status to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with supply chain risk analysis for material topics (e.g., farm level environmental impacts)
• Act as Sustainability lead for responsible sourcing needs (e.g., ingredient risk assessments, sustainable packaging, procurement guidelines)
• Coordinate data collection, quality control, and analysis to meet the Company’s external reporting commitments that include CDP, Sustainable Dairy Partnership, U.S. Dairy Stewardship Commitment, and Social Responsibility Report
• Serve as a resource for on-farm sustainability projects and related initiatives as needed
• Assist with customer sustainability surveys, questionnaires, and reports
