• Recommends reorganizing workflow, relocating of equipment and recommends purchase of equipment.
• Coordinate project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget.
• Complete understanding of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery Metrics.
• WCM, TPS, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge application.
• Ability to work out the time taken to perform a task or to complete a particular production stage and set performance standards.
• Establishes continuous improvement goals and executes action plans.

• Takes direction from lead and use self-initiative to propose solutions/strategies. |

Knowledge & Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of manufacturing processes and practice. |
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment, improving processes and KPIs. |
• Solid knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools including Kaizen approach, One piece flow, 4M’s, 5 Why’s, 5 W 1 h, poka-yoke. |
• Software skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCAD, Minitab. |
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills |
• Effective communication skills - both oral and written. |
• Effective project management skills. |
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams. |
• Six sigma tools |
Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree |
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing / assembly environment. |
• Factory Master Plan. |
• WCM, TPS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing tools. |
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
