May include:

• Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data to improve productivity and efficiency
• Utilizes proven lean principles for warehousing and manufacturing areas
• Abilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased quality, work flow improvements, etc
• Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization
• Utilizes AutoCAD software to design racking, layout, work flow and material handling processes
• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties
• Interacts with MHE vendors and suppliers staying informed on industry trends,
• Data analysis for metric tracking and metric generation
• Recommends reorganizing work flow, relocating of equipment and recommends purchase of equipment
• Coordinate project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget
• Work with Solutions Group on projects and data gathering when assigned
• Complete understanding of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery Metrics
• Knowledgeable of Lean, Kaizen and 5S principles
• Ability to work out the time taken to perform a task or to complete a particular production stage and set performance standards
• Establishes continuous improvement goals and executes action plans
• Develop and implement warehouse storage and retrieval strategies to optimize space utilization, inventory efficiency, and operational productivity.
• Design warehouse configurations and slotting plans to maximize storage capacity, streamline picking processes, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
