Daikin is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to join our team! The Sr Financial Analyst will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.
A Day in the Life:
- Analyze, understand and interpret financial & transactional data supporting monthly journal entries; make recommendations when/where necessary
- Month end financial close activities; including necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting analysis, etc.
- Analyze variances, understand drivers and trends. Assist in development and preparation of regular management reporting
- Support and participate in the annual planning & monthly forecasting process; ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with Business Unit and Corporate Goals.
- Provide support for Business Unit capital spending, including assistance with plan and forecasts, along with development and preparation of regular reporting
- Clearly and concisely communicate as needed on Business Unit results, Forecast/plan and other matters to leadership
- Performs special projects

What you will Bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- 3 years of financial analysis experience
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing organization
