Established in 2018, Daboba has worked our way up from training with boba/tea experts from Taiwan to bringing about high quality drinks across Malaysia and the US.

Our focus includes creating consistently delicious and innovative drinks, while also bringing about the ideal comfort and welcoming feel of a cafe for all. We understand the need for third spaces within today’s world, and would like to make an effort to provide a space for all tea and boba lovers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including milk/fruit tea, frappes, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
- Assist with ingredient preparation, such as cutting fruit, premixing drink bases, or cooking toppings
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise

Skills:
- Sales: Ability to upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales
- Food service: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately. (This can be taught upon hiring, but is highly encouraged.)
- Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Food preparation: Experience in preparing beverages, including tea-based drinks, and various pastry items. Follow standard processes for drinks with consistency.
- Retail math: Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and calculating change accurately
- Cash register/POS: Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system for processing customer payments. (Required.)
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
